In Japanese "Genmaicha" means natural rice. This popular green tea is made from Bancha tea, to which 50% roasted or popped rice grains have been added. It is mild, slightly sweet with a nutty, caramel note. Thanks to the low caffeine content, it can be enjoyed all day long.
